Prince William Chamber Announces New Look, Functions for pwchamber.org

Redesigned Chamber Site Features Voter Resources and Tools for Businesses

The Prince William Chamber of Commerce unveiled its redesigned website this week, featuring a sleeker look, faster load times and additional functionality.  Manassas-based marketing firm ImagineDesign built the new www.pwchamber.org at no charge to the Chamber.

“We are excited to offer a more robust site that serves multiple functions.  Businesses can quickly find information on programs and events that benefit their bottom line, as well as local business news along with updates on wider market trends,” said Clapper.  “We worked with ImagineDesign to create a site that can evolve with the needs of our membership and community.”

Community members can take advantage of site features such as a business directory listing the Chamber’s over 2,100 members, a community map and job board.  One addition to the site is an advocacy resource center that features voter information and policy news.  Chamber President & CEO Rob Clapper said it can be used as a tool to prepare for the upcoming elections.

“The advocacy pages provide a simple way to learn about candidates in your district, find your polling location and keep up with policy news.  When the new legislative session starts back up, site visitors can also track legislation, see how representatives score on key issues and contact elected officials,” explained Chamber President & CEO Rob Clapper.  He said that the Chamber will use this tool to keep members informed and engaged about policies that affect area businesses.

The team at ImagineDesign spent several months planning and constructing the new look, with a focus on creating an intuitive user experience.  ImagineDesign CEO Patrick King expressed his enthusiasm for the project saying, “Becoming members of this Chamber has been nothing short of a spectacular decision for our business; not just for our company's visibility, but also for the relationships we've been able to develop with the Chamber staff and fellow members. This Chamber is full of warm and inviting people that take a sincere interest in the success of Prince William area businesses.  We think the new site design reflects that warmth and energy.”
