Salute to Armed Services Recognizes Local Heroes

Community Invited to "Sponsor a Veteran" at Chamber Event

Now through Friday, December 7, members of the community are invited to sponsor a veteran’s attendance at the Prince William Chamber of Commerce’s “Salute to the Armed Services,” which takes place January 16, 2013, 11:30 am at Harbour View in Woodbridge.  The Salute is an opportunity to thank the men and women in our community who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation.  Highlights include recognition of outstanding military members and introduction of the new Prince William Veteran’s Council. 

For $75, sponsors receive a seat for themselves along with a seat for a local military veteran.  This additional seat can be given to an individual of the sponsor’s choosing, or to a veteran on the Chamber’s wait list.  Price includes lunch.  Sponsors also receive unique recognition, including:

• Company name (or individual name) included in the scrolling PowerPoint at the luncheon
• Company (or individual name) listed on the nametag of the sponsored veteran, letting them know they are your honored guest
• Recognized as a sponsor during the Salute to the Armed Services
