April Events of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce

 

The Prince William Chamber of Commerce offers diverse events of interest to business leaders and others in the Northern Virginia community.  Chamber events provide information that businesses want to know, whether it is a practical insight that firms can use to improve their bottom line or information on what is happening in Prince William and beyond that affects the community’s capacity to create jobs, increase the tax base and promote an improved quality of life.  All Chamber events offer networking opportunities for those seeking valuable new connections or the opportunity to expand their customer base.  As the only Chamber of Commerce serving Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, the Prince William Chamber’s events are located in every corner of the community.  Members and nonmembers alike are encouraged to attend, with members receiving special discounts.

This year the Summit focuses on education as it relates to the workforce development pipeline that begins at birth. Nearly 90% of the human brain has formed by age 5, making the early years the most critical foundation for all future learning. Building your pipeline – this concept may be the hardest thing to accomplish in professional sales. This class will try to answer many questions involved in building a world class sales pipeline, including: 

  • The Who – who are my ideal prospects to spend my time prospecting towards. Also, if you have different markets that would allow you different prospecting audiences how do
  • The What and the How – what methods are available to you to in your prospecting efforts.
  • The When and the How Often – when are the best times to prospect and how often should we prospect.
  • The Where – what type of prospecting is best for you and where can you get the most bang for your time.
  • The Why – we will review the standard pipeline metrics and attempt to design a plan around your specific wants and needs.

This session will also cover how to identify a prospects buying cycle and classify them in the pipeline.
